Is Abbas guilty of treason for holding talks with Olmert during the invasion of Gaza?

The invasion the the Gaza has now begun. Even the French Foreign Minister has called for negotiations,as has Ismail Haniyah,Hamas leader in Gaza. Olmert has refused to enter negotiations for a ceasefire,rendering his self-declared "free hand" for a military resolution a matter of pure aggression. Should any professed Palestinian leader be meeting with the enemy of his people at such a time as this?
