What can you do if the sorority you want to join at your school doesnt have a "process" ?

I know that there is an issue within the Black Greek Orgs about being paper or skating vs going through the traditional process. And going one route leads to less respect from other orgs. But what can one do if the sorority or fraternity at their school doesn't offer that process? Do they simply have to go along with the concept that they are paper and not get the proper respect deserved for being a member?
