Would Laser eye surgery correct my vision?

I work at an optometry office and we do pre and post ops for lasik. All of your questions depend on your eyes. If you have astigmatism then it may not be correctable to 20/20 it just depends on the amount of astigmatism you have or don't have. A +6.00 is pretty bad but it may be correctable to 20/20. But your vision COULD start to get bad again and you may even need gles again in the future and you will definitely need readers when you get older as will everyone. i have seen alot of patients and i have never heard anyone who wasn't happy and havent seen any problems yet. But call the Doctor who does it cause the one we have here has free seminars once a week and will evaluate and let someone know if they are a candidate or not and the probable success rate for your specific vision. No it does not hurt and literally only takes about 30 sec to complete .
