What to you think about putting children on ADD medication?

I felt the same way as you did when they wanted to my son on medication for ADHD. After asking a lot of questions and reading up on the different medications out there i know it was the right thing to do. He takes, Concerta and helps him so much. No side effects either which was what i was most worried about. Some would disagree with me but i know he can't live without it. It's the only thing that calms him down enough to concentrate. Makes life easier for all of us including him.
