Seizures and Driving?

I have a question hoping to get some good sound advice from. I have epilepsy. It has been well under control for over 4 years. I have been able to get my drivers license and have been driving for the past 3 years. Recently, there was a thunderstorm with alot of lightening. I was caught in the storm that night. The lightening wasn't just a little in the distance it was the kind that lit up the whole sky. If flashed several times and at that time gave me a headache. I went home and went to sleep and woke up in the morning a little disoriented. I knew from the way I was feeling (slow to respond when people were talking to me, deep gasping breaths, and very weak) those are my signs of a seizure. I kept myself at home and stayed in bed had a seizure and was taken to the hospital and released a few hours later.. the doctor contacted the ministry of transportation and had my license suspended. Do you think that since I know what triggered the seizure that they would reinstate
